Another “historic downtown” with no obvious heart or soul.
The fort was interesting as were the staff.
The town is lame but the Fort Caspar Museum is well done.

Casper is an oil town in central Wyoming. It has little to offer tourists.
- The Fort Caspar Museum chronicles the history of Casper. Behind the museum is a reconstruction of Fort Caspar, which stood on the site in the 19th century. Admission is $3 for adults.
- Check out the historic downtown. It’s a couple blocks worth of interesting buildings.
- Sandwich Bar lets you create your own perfect sandwich from several different ingredients. When you’re finished, you pay by weight. The soups are excellent.
