A perennial favourite, and one in which I thought I knew most of the differences, but boy was I wrong. It goes much further than pants, pavements, lifts and chips. It’s not just USA vs UK either. We keep finding USA signs that Nick (from Chicago) hasn’t seen before and doesn’t understand – we are into state by state differences, let alone cross Atlantic ones.
